Speakers not working anymore
Hey, im currently using "altec lansing" speakers. I couple of weeks ago I moved from Canada to Jordan,Amman. (asia)
I bought a converter to plug my speakers into the outlet, but it doesnt seem to be working. The speakers just wont turn on.
Can any of you basilers help me?

Yes... hopefully the "converter" is actually a voltage transformer inside.. and not just a plug converter, or the speakers may have been burned out by the higher voltage.
All electrical appliances that come from the US/Canada will need a voltage converter, not just an adapter to make the plug fit into the wall socket.
Your computer might work without a special voltage converter because the power supply in the computer can work both ways, but almost everything else will need some kind of special voltage converter.
