Are there only a couple of NX weapons that can go over cannons?
If so, what are they?

Slither Style snake sword. Even thought it looks incredibly awkward. </3
Cherry Blossoms work, and the cat and boombox was released just for cannoneers and they have special effects
Actually, some can go on your back

they're regular as a dagger, claw or cane.

Do you know how they function on a cannoneer? Like do they go behind your back?
Chocolatier Stick, Magic Herb Spoon, Goblin Fire, Crystal Fantasia, Evergreen, Syringe, Magic heart Stick, Chocolate dipped stick, Starlight Scepter, etc. etc.
Check the CS weapon cover that says covers all weapons?
I know Dragon Familiar, Goblin Fire, Pink Seraphim, Snowflake Rod, Twinkling Rainbow, Crystal Fantasia Wand covers all weapons, these are the ones on the top of my head at the moment.
