Tips to avoid scams
People get scammed every day(with nx, mesos, or items) and it is becoming a real problem.
So I took time to make tips so you will most likely never get scammed again.
1. Do not go first UNLESS good vouchers are provided.( you want couple well known ones or alot of them before trading. Make sure you whisper the vouchers or have confirmation that they do vouch).
2. Make the person show proof they have what they are selling. If they cannot even show proof of the item or mesos, obviously it is a scam.
3. People are often too lazy to do this but GOOGLE the person's ign.
I have gotten scammed in the past by going first but if I had googled them, I would have known they do scam.
(I have gotten scammed by HorrorFiims, Serta, and Bomb in windia"
So those are my tips. I hope people use them so they do not go first on first impressionable trades.
Good luck and happy mapling!

Tips to avoid getting scammed from NX/meso trades:
1. Don't do it at all
@masterrobert i would advise that too. middlemans guys!
Protip don't do shady deals with NX just go pure meso and item
vouchers usually has to be someone who can be trusted, e.g leader of a well-known guild. vouching also entails covering for any mishaps/scams. if you're just saying "i trust this guy", that's not vouching.

what?
Instead of vouchers, I would suggest using a trusted middle man. In my opinion, vouchers are usually useless and I don't believe in them. For example, if someone vouches to someone from the same guild. And if a scam does occur, unless the voucher vouches to someone they know very well, they don't expect to pay anyways. If I do vouch however, I just see it as saying I trust someone, but I also include that I won't be responsible for any miscommunications.
