@Pavchka: Hmm... Could be. I've never had any problems with that in general that I can recall, but Windows tends to change things without any indication as to why.
Sometimes its the communication between the router and OS. Sometimes its purely software related. One thing both Windows and MapleStory share in common is that they're both so bloated in their coding that it causes serious issues, even for some minor changes XD

Sometimes a simple IP flush & refresh helps too. Just go to the command prompt (cmd) > "ipconfig /release" > "ipconfig /renew" > "ipconfig /flushdns".
That releases and erases locally-stored DNS information - including any bad entries that may have collected - and refreshes all the known good entries. Sometimes it helps when the game boots you off before you can log in.
Ah, I have to remember that one! Thanks.

@SwiftSai: I kinda already did :

If you're using Windows 8 I think the procedure to reach cmd changes, but it's basically open Run/type in Start Menu search > type in "cmd" > repeat above.
@Pavchka: OS really shouldn't matter unless it's the Windows 10 Preview.
I can run Maple off W8 just fine (not sure about 8.1, as the computer used hasn't "upgraded" to that yet).
What may matter is if he's moved to a new computer entirely; Maple is finicky sometimes about the hardware/software installed >.<

Most of what @BladeLord42 said. Also, try logging onto other worlds just to be sure it isn't Windia that's causing problems.
If none of that works, you may need to reinstall the game. That should be a last resort, though.
You'll have to completely remove the game (uninstall + delete folder) to make sure the install is clean.
I was wondering if it were a Winsock problem. I had to reset Winsock on both my Vista and my 7 computer before I could Maple on them (was booted off the world select screen in both cases).

Did you recently switch to a new OS?

Have you tried to "run it as administrator?" (Right-click)
Do you log in from the website or the GameLauncher app in the maple folder?
Gamelauncher is more stable than the website I think.
