Is a Bishop better

Bishop or Evan in terms of fun and bossing, 1b funds I want to be able to do normal gollux max probably. Are bishops a waste of time?

With my current clean range if I REALLY wanted to , I am almost positive I could PSOK all my things back to my evan and cap Illusion without buffing anything except elemental decrease. But that personally bores me and I enjoy playing a bossing Bishop so much more. Don't get all butt hurt just because I'm telling the guy to play what he likes more instead of playing the higher DPS class. If that were the case he would be so much better off just playing a f/p over Evan anyways. it takes even less to cap the Mist Eruption spams than it does for an Evan to cap Illusion.
You responded in a rude way and so I did as well.
Why would I be insulted if you told me a class I liked was better then a class I liked?
No one is butthurt here.
@keyan22: Hitting high DOES matter, I don't care if you out DPS me on a chart it doesn't mean much if I still hit harder. On most end game bosses I do 8 lines of 18m hits which comes out to 144m roughly per hit. To match that hit for hit literally double that much per line with Illusion. Just saying.

EDIT: I also acknowledged pretty much all those points on his other thread. Evan is about the best unfuded bossing mage, no dispute here. on only like 260k range and under 200% boss I could get 7-9m lines doing dojo with illusion. All I'm saying is just because a DPS chart says a class has more dps means nothing if you don't have the fundings to back it up. According to this I would be 7 places behind an Evan in terms of DPS. However, the most funded Evan on my server's best time in dojo is only 8 seconds faster than my best and I'm pretty certain he caps in dojo
Evans cap at only 1.5m range and don't have many lines but Nexon updates them every like 2 months anyways eventually they will have more lines. My friend has an Evan and hits around 36m lines with like 200% boss under 1m range
This made me laugh.

This made me laugh harder, you should tell that to my 60m AR lines in dojo

OT: You've already made a thread on this in the mage forum, where I've posted an extremely detailed response to your question sir. Go read and be edified >.<
Just because you hit high means nothing, the dps charts agree with me as well.
He IS asking what he should fund with 1b which wont get very far and you said in your giant thread Evans would be stronger if you weren't highly funded.
He hardly cares about buffs since why would he fund a support class, to attack?
You can HEAL on your bishop? I hardly even get hit on my Evan.
You will be wanted by parties more? It's not like 1 hitting doesn't attract others nor is it hard to do in the first place.
I could have 1m range clean on an Evan and with a link skill I could make it around 1.7m with every buff Evan has, and in the long run you can hit more lines then me? Amazing the cap only increased like 4 times already one day they will just remove cap completely and that 8 lined attack wont matter.
Arcane Aim aims in the right direction by making you want more people in your party doesn't it? Lower exp due to party play change, and the only use of it is in bossing which Evans outclass you in when your averagely funded and so is the Evan.

This made me laugh.
Evans have:
Attacks that actually hurt stuff(sorry bishops)
Bishops have nothing better besides hs.
I'd choose Evan.
These are the useful things both classes have:

Evans have:
30% dmg buff (that and a 10% for other heroes)
Soul Stone(revive)
Recovery aura(healing skill)
Passive healing skill
Character card mp regen
Attacks that actually hurt stuff(sorry bishops)
and Elemental Decrease

Bishops have:
Resurrection
Advanced blessing
Holy symbol
Door(can be gotten with decent skills)
Revive v2 (170 hyper skill)
Dispel
Some shield thing
Heal
and I think thats about it they might have a passive healing skill as well but i'm not sure.
You could make a bishop sell hs service and then fund you Evan more easier if you decide to make one.
I like both classes and played both for around a yr at least (my Evan for 4) but bishop was mostly just sitting on a rope spamming one macro so I mained Evan.

How to be successful

Step 1. Make a bishop
Step 2. Get a permanent pet
Step. 3 Buy pet auto MP & skill buff for HS
Step 4. Buy a giant planet or mesodizer chair
Step 5. Leech until 250

you already posted this thread...

here is a thread that gives more detailed ranking of the mage classes, and people's reasoning
http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2840883

if I were you tho I would make the bishop just because they're good to have in case you ever need the buffs, but don't fund it,
and then make an evan and use the funding on that
