Accumulating Pdr?
I have yet another question about weapon potential: how does PDR stack up? Is it ALWAYS and STRICTLY multiplicative or is it sometimes additive?
For example:
Fafnir Risk Holder Claw
PDR 10%
Potential
PDR 40%
PDR 30%
Will this weapon ignore 80% of enemy defenses or 62.2% or none of the above?

It's fine either way, since you'll get the same result considering it's multiplicative.
Basically, 0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 == 0.3 x 0.1 x 0.6

Ignore PDR is only additive with debuff and debuff Hyper Skills (e.g. Threaten and Threaten - Enhance, Spikes Royale and Spikes Royale - Armorbreak, Frailty Curse and Frailty Curse - Enhance). I'm still uncertain of attacks with built-in Ignore PDR and their Ignore PDR Hyper Skill increase, but I think that's still multiplicative.
Other than that, every other Ignore PDR is calculated multiplicatively.
no it is 80% yung tyrone ya feel me?
i feel u but im yung jamal not yung tyrone das my bro
10% of 100% is 10%, so 90% defense is left over,
40% of 90% is 36%, so 54% defense is left over,
30% of 54% is 16.2%, so 37.8% defense is left over,
Therefore you will deal 62.2% of your normal damage.
PDR was changed many patches ago from addictive to multiplicative. To determine PDR now its 1-(1-Amount of PDR)(1-Amount of PDR)etc
So in your case if you only hav pdr on the claw its: 1-(1-.1)(1-.4)(1-.3)=1-(.9)(.6)(.7) which is about 60% PDR.
pt sure pdr is all multiplicative now

I are confused.
around 60% if the claw is the only thing you have.
