Reason?
If i'm not mistaken, i'm not the only one here who misses Assaulter.
Appears to me that they [i]replaced[/i] assaulter with our new rushing move "Phase Dash".
No hate to the effort put into Phase Dash.. But I [i]DO[/i] believe our rushing skill should have been more shield based- being the only thief that really rocks the shield.
For the sake of [b]unique[/b] gameplay and [i]'keeping up'[/i] with newly released classes; I think it's safe to say that maplers (bandit class respectively) would rather have..

[b]INSTEAD OF "PHASE DASH" AS OUR RUSHING MOVE,[/b]
[b]A SHIELD-BASED RUSHING MOVE[/b]

Skill name: Shield Drive(?) The Sprinting Shield(?) laaaaaaaaawlz [Active]
Mastery level 20
Pre-Req: Haste 20
Animation: [Based off Kaiser's Tempest Blades] Enlarged version of bandit's equipped shield is set out in front of the player (player is still seen/shield not too far ahead) and wind whippings leave a trail when we move whilst holding down the skill button.
Description: Player summons their mighty shield to rush whatever enemies they run into while moving at 180% speed.
Damage: 175%(?)
Max enemies rushed: Infinite, if not 8 at the [i]least[/i].
Number of attacks: 1 repetitious attack as you push forward (like Mercedes' skill Ishtar's Ring if held down)
I think this would give us back (and then some) more unique gameplay in the sense that we'll have that beautiful platform-monster catching attack again. [i]Assaulter<3[/i]
AND when I think about it, correct me if i'm wrong- there's no 'held button' rushing move yet. We've got the haste, we've got the awesome shields, we've got the idea? lol

You missed the point of why assaulter is gone? lol
I like the hold-down-button part, I'll send one.
I wanted a rushing skill that looks like Radiant Driver, except the animation would look like one of those wristguard shields(or what you said about the enlarged equipped shield) instead of the sword. Phase Dash is so fat and ugly, just like that other class.
