Fusion Anvil question

Hi, I was wondering if you can use fusion anvil with a perm NX item as the appearance and a regular item as function.

And example is, is it possible to fuse NX slime slippers with like a Tyrant boot? (in this case, using a non-perm NX item or perm-NX item).
