Apparently the whole promise of listening to the users is actually happening. Not only that, I've seen some posts in Insoya that claims that they have their hacked inventories back 100%. This particular message is 1:1 chat between a employee in nexon (red snail) and a user.

Translated By Myself:

This is Maplestory cutomer service.

Hi, (crossed out name)
Hello, this is RedSnail, and I was quite wide-eyed by your message.
(According to the author of the message, he was raging and used harsh language xD)

You've messaged us regarding the patch for Paladins in Tespia.

If I may summarize your Inquiries:

Change so that:
1. Power Guard's damage absorb effect to be moved to shield mastery
2. Secondary weapon rosario trigger shield mastery
3. Advanced charge, element charge do not turn off
4. All charge skills recieve damage increase
5. Blast' secondary effects to remain the same
6. Sanctuary (Heaven's Hammer) to become something useful

This about summarizes your message.
Tespia literally is a ground for testing
so I cannot confirm that these changed would be made
but I can assure you that these inquiries would be sent to he Development team.

If any questions or inquiries arise from playing the game,
please feel free to contact us any time.

Hope you have a great day. ^^
RedSnail, slow, but always doing his best, reporting for duty.

Thank you.

I'm glad that maplestory is putting effort to reflect users' opinions and inquiries.
This may indicate that the promise that came with RED may be something we can trust?
Really happy that Heavens hammer may be fixed to become useful in the future xD

Why would you ego stroke someone when they didn't even produce results or follow through yet?
It's like a parent says to their child, "we're going to the movies tonight." Yay, the child praises the parent and hugs them.. later that night, no movie.

Seems like they won you over so easily with just 1 "correct" thing. If you want to praise them wait for results not just words because anyone can talk big.
They haven't won me over. You are treating the word "praise" as if I'm saying their the best things in the whole world. I added in the phrase "pat on the back" to show that they haven't "won me over". And they retracted their Battle Mage revamp so that is already taking the first step to working on a better Battle Mage. I feel they really are trying to make a better Maplestory. They haven't showed how they are reworking our Paladin changes just yet so unlike the BaMs, we haven't seen them take the first step yet but I believe they are currently in the process of it after what we've seen lately from them.

@SilverBladez yeah it's from insoya.com which I was a part of. Thats actually true since we don't really get a say in anything of what goes on in KMS which is kind ofthe future we are inevitably going to face. Fortunately, the threads on inven, insoya, kms official thread, basil and leafre has been quite similar. the problem is, that only goes so far. Please keep us updated on that inquiry.

@Kazzooey I agree. i would say this was really from the pressure of new games and mobile games pushing MS to the edge. Really though, what has come from it is rather amazing.
People should stop praising. This is Korean Nexon, not NA Nexon.
Nexon Korea makes almost all of the content in Maplestory so yes this is a very big deal. The only real problems we have here with Nexon NA is shotty customer service as they don't do "too" much to the game. And Nexon Korea still gets just as much hate as Nexon NA does.

Actually listening and working with it's players is a MASSIVE step to helping this game, so yes maybe we should start praising and giving them a pat on the back over something like this.

Copied from what I said on SP regarding this. (I gave you credit for the translating).

''Seeing how GMS copies over from KMS and have no saying most of the part in anything, how would this be fair towards
GMS players if you look at that KMS is listening to KMS players. (See above).

Could it be possible somehow for nexon NA to gather some information from here and pass it on to the KMS dev team?
I know it's a long shot but it's a shame we really have no saying in anything and can only hope KMS players have the same
way of thinking like us.''

I asked this towards a Nexon employee, hoping I hear something back.

@pissingmeoffp

Yeah. I think it's going to happen in NA too, especially the hacking compensation part, since it wasn't the matter of how to run a company, just the matter of reorganizing the system so they can compensate without duping. There was this whole interview with how they revamped the server backups

@tenseiga1

Doesn't really matter, since the changes paladins get would be the same in here.
