I'm obviously talking about MapleStory and the reason why I said " I don't know how much more we can be disappointed " is due to the fact that many people have asked for it ( months to years), and still no sign of it The only hope we had was when they said that world merge will come first before they can do a world transfer ( which is understandable and reasonable) , but when people asked for it via AMA, they said no to world transfers which led to disappointment Many people ( including me and @Caeg: ), have put in many time and effort to make both world merge and world transfer happen and it's upsetting when one thing happened ( world merge / alliance) , but no world transfer I don't know about you, but if you waited years and put in years amount of effort to make something happen and only end up with false hopes, you'll end up disappointed too Also, " disappoint " is not the right word to use when your parents could die .... that's just devastating o.o o.o

@LightCaress: The funny thing is, every single time KMS had/ has a world transfer event and people ask for it in GMS, they say no / they can't do it ... I wouldn't be suprised if people brought this up to GMS and they say no, AGAIN. >.< >.<

@lolmiggy: It is relevant because it takes a very large time to do I agree with you that they've been milking money out of players but then again, they're going to keep doing that even after 5th job is out They probably shouldn't have showed the " V" when they're not anywhere close to finishing the 5th jobs / release information about it soon, but maybe they will release some information on it during this update, maybe not As tiring as it is, we just have to keep on waiting ( unfortunately)

4th job came out 2 years after 3rd job. It has been 7+ years since 4th job. It's going to be at least 4x as long the wait. Maybe if they weren't busy making a bunch of watered down classes, they could have started working on it earlier.

I don't know about Mario, but do all Mario games directly continue? Will a bunch of players' progress carry over from one update to the next? Are they not expected to restart entirely? Didn't 4th job directly affect what we do in game from when we had only 3 jobs? 5th isn't a completely new installment. It's the same game. It's a continuation of it.

Its impact is taking unreasonably long to pay off considering it was confirmation of something that has been anticipated for an even longer time.

It's a crappy tactic from them too if it motivates people to dedicate themselves to their progress more than they would have had they known the payoff would take an unreasonably long time. All Nexon did was milk a little more time and money out of that expectation while stringing players along with lazy content.

OK but how many years do you wait for that big surprise like 1 max 2 years, they took the time to hype everybody but not a single word has been told to us about the V job, at this rate we're going to be playing Maplestory2 or just quit the game.

4th job took a very long time to come out too. Also all they said back in 2013 was that yes it was coming. Nothing advertised just that it was coming. That's no different then say Nintendo saying "Yes there will be a new 3D Mario game like Mario 64." Then just giving you the name of the game. They never showed it off other than a giant V on the screen. So no it's not stupid. A lot of companies do it to garner attention and build something for players to look forward to.

I hope they lied. I would love one along with a cash item transfer(yes we've had two recently. But I change characters too much x.x )

I agree and it doesn't help that times have changed ; people who grew up with it got older and probably don't play it / don't play it as much , there are much more games to choose from, better companies treat their customers right , etc. There will most likely be an update to the potential system once 5th job comes out ( which means maybe new endgame sets and or more cubing to do I'm assuming ).
