What do you remember from old Maplestory

By old I mean since Release of Maplestory (2005), to beta, to (2008)
What I remember back in 2006, and if anyone would like to add to this list, feel free to leave a comment
lvl 20-30 training was pig beach, and you couldn't get in a KPQ because of so many autoclickers.
2x cards were 19.9k nx for certain days and times.
Training at sleepywood tunnels back when horny mushrooms and zombie mushshrooms were in first room.
Training on Fire boars at lvl 35-40 then LPQ.
There used to be a glitch in OPQ known as GPQ (Glitch PQ) gave 68k x 4times, all you need to do
is smuggle by disconnecting your modem and quickly reconnect holding down pick up.
Climbing the Eos Tower all the way up without any eos scrolls (same for orbis)
ilbi stars were 30m back then. (then wolf spiders came out along with NLC) (Insane price drop)
Training on maple island till level 10 with a mage was very insanely tedious if u wanted to keep your int, and not put str.
Having a 14atk bwg meant you were considered (godly)
maple anniversary had cool weopons like maple kandayo and maple wagner etc. not dumb lvl 80 stuff
Then mpq came out, nooo not magatia, Maze PQ which gave an amount of exp ratio with number of tickets collected (max i think was 10-12k per 4minutes if good party)
zombies in el nath were used as training for lvl 50-70 (zombies now are like lvl 126 or something)
3rd job was tedious cause you had to travel to el nath back to vic back to el nath back to vic etc etc
Most pqs lasted 1 hour, not 10 minutes like now (pqs like OPQ, Magatia PQ, LPQ, KPQ)
Level 110 weapons werent out, so highest Thief claw was Red Craven lvl 100
Buying zakum runs from hefferheffer was our main source of zhelms
Hefferheffer was trusted, everyone would give him account info including me so that he can do zakum prequests for us.
People actually did quests back then.
Jump quests for john and shumi's lost coin was tedious because of the flying bats, spikes, tobis flying, huge pink and green spiked ballls flying, chainsaws coming out of ground.
No such thing as clean slate scrolls, chaos scrolls, white scrolls, protection scrolls, equip enhancement scrolls, potential system, nebulite. None of that bs. Straight up the standard 10%, 30%, 50% shield atk, 60%, 70%, and 100% scrolls. That was it you had to upgrade your equips.
There were no face accessories, no eye accessories, no shoulder equips, no medals, no codex, no android.
Obviously no codex meant no monster cards.
Buying fame was 5-10k, 25k if your rich. Today's price I believe is 100k or more or something.
No LHC, no GT, no SH, no Dragon Rider, no escape, no kenta, just the standard kpq, lpq, opq, mpq, magatia pq. Level 100s plus would train pirates in ludi or hemis where crow is in mushroom shrine, level 130+ Skelegons all the way to 200.
At the end of the pqs, there would be a bonus stage and where you claim your reward by talking to the npc. Some would stay in kpq bonus to "scout". Scout= the act of exiting the pq at bonus or earlier to make sure your channel is empty or get tracks in case the opposing party steals channel.
Rush: the act of franticly and panicking to rush out of the pq and run to npc. Usually leader does this but all members must be within the vicinity.
The highest level I had was lvl 68 assassin TheRealApex, which was my main. Some of you may know him as the merchant in the FM of 2006-2010. I used to have 2.147b at that time.
Keep in mind that NX ratio trade was 1:2 back then, meaning 1k nexon for 2m. I payed 60m for 35 gacha tickets, and bought many Mushroom shops, but never clothes.
I have never spent real life money on maplestory in my life let alone a penny.
That is my rant on pre pre pre prebigbang memories.
I have been playing since 2006.
I feel old now
