My computer's been sucking, so I installed malwarebytes. It's been 3 hours so far and it's not done yet.

Yes, it's the first one that pops up when you Google "Malwarebytes".
I haven't read anything about any fakes lately, but I do know there was one a while ago that appeared from somewhere.
As long as you got it from malwarebytes.org you should be good.

A full scan of the entire hard drive can take a long time, especially if you have a large hard drive.
And yes, be sure to always download from the links on the official site because there ARE fakes.
are you sure you are even scanning with the REAL malwarebytes. there may be fakes out there
I don't even know.
I use Norton. That's probably why there are so many viruses.
