Unconventional Freezing
Hi guys. Just seeing if anyone has experienced the same problem as me and has a solution (without abandoning the use of my amp+DAC while playing Maplestory). Just returned to Maplestory so this issue is a bit of a head scratcher.
So basically, every time I logged into Maplestory after entering my PIC, my Maplestory would freeze within a few seconds without fail. I've recently discovered that it's a result of using my amp+DAC as my default playback device. I've switched it to my 2.1 speakers and the freezing has stopped. I have also alternated my default playback device between these two, and every time I switch it to my amp+DAC, it freezes without fail. It also unfreezes without fail when I change it to my speakers. If it would help, my amplifier is a Mayflower Electronics Objective 2 Amp + ODAC.
So being an entry level audiophile, I would prefer not to abandon the use of my amp+DAC while playing Maplestory.
If anyone has had the same problem and has managed to solve it and continue to use their amp/DAC while playing Maplestory, I would be very glad to hear it.
