Buccaneer

Some help for a future guide.

Currently I'm writing a guide with EVERYTHING a Bucc needs in a guide(Yea, I know there are 2~3 out there, but I figured I'd do one on Basil and cover Dexless/Low Dex, builds, training spots, equip advice, ect). I'm currently almost done on the builds(Just wrapping up Bucc) and I'd like a little assistance, specificly on Equipment and "new" Dex builds.

Now I only went down the unfunded Bucc path, but that was a LONG time ago. I'm not sure if the priority for equipment has changed, aswell as the end-game material. I'd assume a Knuckler with 100+ Attack should be end game for someone starting from scratch. The staple items for unfunded are obviously 2~3% STR Overalls, Earrings, Shoes and a Cape aswell as the obvious Zhelms, Broken Glasses(At minimum), MoN, ect. As for the higher levels of funding, I know Czhelms and HTP's and stuff like that come in, but exactly what % of STR and Attack on a Knuckler are considered "godly"(I'd assume HT soloable in a reasonable time for this), "average"(I have no clue where to set the bar for this), ect. I'd mainly be going by ranges instead of amounts of funding, since funding differs from a lot of servers. I mean, 200m in say, El Nido is probably not equal to 200m in Scania.

Next up, Dex. Now I know low Dex gives the best damage POTENTIAL if you can pull it off, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't take the same amount of funding to do now. Before Dexless was for the rich, exactly what is it now? Average? I know the MAX Dex should be around 50, and that's for the especially unfunded such as myself. Exactly what would be accomplishable on no funds?

Also, training spots that you KNOW work or trained at would be awsome. I'm especially looking for exp/hour. I know I can easily consult a guide+my own experience training low level chars for them, but I don't keep track of exp/hour and I honestly don't want to invest in making a new char(Especially with the lag I get), play to get faulty results and put up bad info. I HATE that.

If anyone would like to help, please post. Yes, for people saying it's too long, I'll post a brief version.

I want equip advice for well funded Buccs, what the current popular Dex builds are aswell as funds needed for them, exp/hour for training spots aswell as spots themselves if you have them.

And yes, I know there are tons of guides out there. But Basil's one is horribly outdated, so I mightaswell take all the information I can, compile it and hopefully be in a position to actually update it on a regular basis, unlike some guides out there. It would also, hopefully, save some people asking very obvious questions. All help is awsomely appreciated.

Cool. I can't wait for your guide. Just the fact it's made by a Goku look-alike makes it incredibly credible.

If you could list or PM me that that'd be great. Honestly, since it changes so much I think I'll just give examples of what your equipment could look like at that "level". See, I'd say 15k range is "godly" to me, hence why I can't really update that stuff worth crap cause I have no knowledge on it. But approximatives would be great since I'm actually writing the equipment section right now.

Well I guess that's where I come in
I'm far from being "godly" (about 15k on my range to be exact)
But I do know what good endgame equipment is for the Pro on to Godly ranks~

Thanks Josh. I don't mind consistently updating it, but the hard fact is I'm NOT godly, so I don't know what IS godly. And I'll probably never get to that point because it requires money, which I'm horrible at making. I don't mind typing and working on updating the guide, but the material itself can't exactly come from me generaly. I mean, I know staple equipment(10 Dex Pirate Overalls, Mark of Naricains, Zhelms, ect), but godly stuff or anything above average is not my forte.

Of course you will have that point to where something is considered "Godly" but like everything in due time they become less and less godly.
I remember pro King Cents being 100att. Now its anything 130+
But yeah a good Guide will have to be constantly updated to keep up with the changes in Maple.

Looking forward to the guide Pat.
Ill try to help out as much as I can.

I see where you're coming from, but putting a "to aim for" or something of such would be good, in my oppinion. Like when to know you're "above average", "godly", ect. I mean, there are some staple items that probably won't change for a while and if they do, I don't mind updating. I always thought there was some kind of point where the equips really spoke for themselves in being godly?

For the well funded, there is no limit to their equips. You really can't put a guide up for equips as circumstances change too much and there are way too many variables.
