I'd advise against steps 2-4 on the basis of bad quality. You can use programs to extract the audio (I did have a program that did this a while ago, but its name evades me), or you could use some other recording software (perhaps Audacity?) to record your systems Wave output, and then edit it a bit to clean it up.
Or of course, download it from somewhere that's already done it (such as YoutubeMP3 or that other website stated prior)
Look it up on YouTube, Google "YouTube to MP3", click the first link, input the YouTube link and download.
