I need s. I also need to extend the damn title. I've decided this semester to get a couple of annoying credits out of the way in college which led me to tackle the bane of so many's existence: Speech class. I do well finding sources, but not so well in what I need today. We're starting off the semester with a thrilling introductory speech where we present ourselves with a short-term goal we have and then basically find a way to talk for five minutes without actually saying anything meaningful. I've decided to go above and beyond and think outside of the box and chose to talk about how I plan to graduate college. However, the speech must follow a very specific rubric and we must follow by example a sample outline provided to us by our

Is my stinginess going to screw my laptop? I've had an ASUS U52F notebook for a little over two years now and about four or five months ago, the battery died. I removed the battery from my laptop and when I put my laptop to charge without the battery, it would start up and work normally. So, I said to myself, screw the battery, and just decided to use it with the charger. I'd take the charger with me when I needed to use the laptop outside of home. However, in the past few days, I've noticed that apparently my charger has a faulty connection or something and won't receive any power if I move it to certain positions. Since I have no battery, this means an abrupt cut to my laptop's power supply, shutting it off. The last time this happened, w

Recommend me games. So I've been pretty bored recently and it's been like a year since I've actually played a video game I've enjoyed, so I'm wondering if I can pick up anything that's good. I could always google 'best games of 2009/2010' or something along the lines but I'm really looking for personal recommendations and, if possible, just a short sentence saying what the game's about (no need to go in-depth, I just like to know what I'm looking at) I have all three consoles, a PS3, a Wii, and a 360. I just got the Wii so I pretty much have nothing for it, and as for the other consoles, the only games I have that are worth mentioning (which I enjoyed to a certain extent at the very least) are God of War 3, GTA 4, and Fable 2. Please don't

I need help with math I have a formula which I know how to use, but am a little unsure of how it came to be and would appreciate if anyone with understanding would clarify this up for me. v = llvll (cos(a)i, sin(a)j) This is what I understand so far: Let's say I draw a vector with a horizontal component of cos(a) and a vertical component of sin(a). Since I know that magnitude is equal to sq.rt(x^2 + y^2), I substitute the values and get sin^2(a) + cos^2(a), which is a nice Pythagorean identity which equals one. Since the magnitude of the vector equals 1, then the vector is a unit vector. Furthermore, if I were to try to find the angle a of vector v, after substituting tan(a) = y/x, I notice that what ends up resulting i

Cool math trick No, this isn't the 0.999... = 1 crap. A friend told me this the other day and I thought this was pretty cool, but maybe I'm just easily impressed. If you take 9 and multiply it by any countable number n, the sum of the resultant's digits will always end up at 9. For example, 9 x 2 = 18 => (1 + 8) = 9 9 x 7 = 63 => (6 + 3) = 9 9 x 16 = 144 =>(1 + 4 + 4) = 9 9 x 64 = 576 => (5 + 7 + 6) = 18 = (1 + 8) = 9 9 x 71 = 639 => (6 + 3 + 9) = 18 = (1 + 8) = 9 9 x 481 = 4329 => (4 + 3 + 2 + 9) = 18 = (1 + 8) = 9 9 x 999999 = 8999991 => (8 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 1) = 54 = (5 + 4) = 9 This only works for the number 9.

You can have all the money and sex youll ever want You're in the middle of your intercontinental road trip you took to find yourself because you've been kicked out of college, every relationship you've been in has been a mess and the only thing that your parents can reliably expect from you is complete disappointment when your car breaks down in the middle of Massachusetts. Salem, Massachusetts. It's about to start raining and you can feel the stare from a murder of crows penetrating your soul from atop the landlines so you decide to knock on the first house you see since it's not like you know anyone and besides, anyone you would know wouldn't want to help you because nothing good will ever come out of you. When you approach the door, you
