I made a thread a while back for a new outfit and this one seemed the most popular. It was originally with a genie lamp but then I equipped the rifle and I thought it was perfect. There's a weird crop because the original file size is too large. My character in-game is female but now I made it look more masculine so I tried to make it androgynous in the drawing. (S)he's supposed to be sitting down, with the knee up near the chest, the pose ended up kind of weird so I guess it's better off cropped anyways.

That is very nice! You should celebrate with a croque monseiur!

@EonAngel: oh wow, thank you so much for the comments and especially the advice! One thing I'm looking forward to working on, after all this chibi art, is landscapes. Of course I still have much to work on, but I'll definitely focus on what you said. My character is originally female, the eyes are called "PPL face" and the hair is actually "Glowy Butterfly Hair"

@unfaltering I was waiting for an appropriate situation to compliment you. Thank goodness it occurred within a few days of finding your character.

Anyway, I think your BaM is simply gorgeous. I was trying to figure out the gender for a while just to find that hairstyle and in which gender it is locked to but gave up in the end. It's not the Young Bob Hair, is it? Marvelous job at creating such an androgynous character, especially with those eyes since there is pretty much no difference in them on both genders. I've seen quite a few male characters in cartoons with long blunt bobs so trying to identify your character that way is also a dead end. Though that really doesn't matter; your character is just so distinctive! You have my highest admiration for pulling off that outfit so beautifully, particularly with the white hair.

In terms of your drawing, I would suggest blending to smooth out the lumps and rough chunks of colour. Particularly under the eyes. I think it looks like what may be called undereye concealer? I've seen several customers at work with yellow based concealer under their eyes. I've really wanted to ask them about it but decided not to in case of embarrassing them in the store. The sand dunes could also be smoothed and softened to make them part of the environment. Have you thought of adding a light source? It would really help with giving dimension to the dunes and to add more undulations/ripples across the sand. The clothing also needs the effect of a light source to create more shadow. Furthermore, I believe the far background in landscapes is meant to be lighter, like slightly affected by fog or mist to remove saturation and provide depth.
Maybe also play around with the pose a bit? Having the leg right in the center of the figure seems a bit odd, especially since (s)he's almost symmetrical.
Also, colours are reflected and absorbed by objects in the environment (to varying amounts) so maybe incorporate more orange light onto your character and possibly a slight bit of red on the feather from the gem for next time.

I really like the background in this! <3
But I think that her knee in the drawing lacks depth... maybe it's too centred or too high up to be in the centre? I'm not sure what stands out about it, but something does.
Keep up the good work!
