Windows Defender Question Is Windows Defender worth saving? I recently got an infection by a rogue anti-spyware program called Vista Anti-Spyware 2011 and it hijacked my Windows Defender, making it defective. Sure, I could try and fix it any time I wish, but I was wondering if it is worth saving, at all. I'm worried that if I save Windows Defender, I can become an easier target of rogue anti-spyware programs because Windows Defender is active and... out there; rather than I don't save it, and keep it "stashed somewhere hidden", as in, keep it defective. So, what are you thoughts, techies? Should I save Windows Defender? By the way, I got rid of Vista Anti-Spyware 2011, already.
