Could fusing clean equips increase w. attk? Not abt anvils.

Through alchemy, does fusing the same two clean equips that hold weapon attack on each of them have a chance to increase that line? Or is just weapon attack the only exception..?
i.e. could a crafted pair of empress gloves fused from two clean empress gloves have a chance to increase it's clean weapon atk by like 3 or more?

I dunno... maybe it's different now. You can never tell with Nexon... they're always tinkering with stuff.
No.
Fusing does NOT change the base stats on an item.
You end up with the standard stats for whatever the item is, no matter what the items you originally fused may have had on them.

The only special thing about fusing items is it has a possibility to give the item POTENTIAL, exactly as if you picked it up from a monster drop.
The item is unidentified and you have to use the magnifying glass on it to reveal the potentials, IF fusing it gave it potentials.

Otherwise, no changes from normal average stats.

oh..I sort of tried and it increased the hp and luk stats by like 4 and 1 on a crafted pair so I imagined if this would've expensively worked =m=
The only way that should have worked is if the items you fused were below average and fusing returned them to the normal average stats.
If you start out with items with above average stats, it will change them, but it will put them back to the lower normal stats.

It essentially works like an Innocence Scroll. It changes the item back to its clean average stats.
