Calculating range question

I see a lot of posts saying "What would my range be with x equips and y funding"(replace x with % and y with Meso). I was wondering how exactly do we go about calculating our range? I know certain websites have calculators but from experience they dont take things like Pdr ect into account. If it doesnt directly affect your range it usually isn't included. So basilers how do you calculate your range taking all aspects into account to get an accurate measure of what you will be hitting?

Using the damage range formula
MaxR=(mult)*(4primstat+secstat)*(Att)/100

All other range multipliers and the likes are factored in the appropriate places.

If you want to know your range with "x% stat y att", then your best bet would be to look at the ranges of other people and get an estimate from there unless you can completely and accurately determine every factor in your range.

Also, knowing what damage you will be hitting against different monsters is different from knowing your range. There are things like total damage multipliers, skill damage, boss damage multipliers, critical rates, max and mins, PDR, ignore PDR, resistance and friction which are not included in your range but can make a large difference in your final damage. To get a rough idea of what you will be hitting on a boss, just simply find how much your range will be multiplied by in the end and take an average value.

Range is only whats shown in your stats making pdr pointless to add in. You would only add in pdr and bossing % etc when calculating your actual damage which is also a lot more complicated.

i know that % tot al damaga and % boss are direct multiliers so
say you have empress set are a DB AB or Phantom and on the dagger and katara/SS and ring/cane and card you have 40% boss and 2 12% tot damage lines.

empress =30% boss so you have a total of 110% boss
and 24% on each wp/item means 48% total damage so
Range * 1.48 = normal ave damaga
(range*1.48)*2.1 = damage against bosses
