Buccaneer

What is a Buccaneers strategy to solo Von Leon?

Is there a certain range we need?

Or is there a step by step process to killing VL?

Your wisdom and help is much appreciated. <3

OK.... I learned alot here about VL, seems like I was doing it wrong all along. (only tried to solo 1 time and failed)
step 1: OCTOPUNCH
step 2: In case of a potential lock kill yourself.
step 3: Let him heal untill all the rhino's are maxed out because they don't do anything for Idk what reason.
step 4: Collect coins and give out free equips.
what do u mean 1min to do it. dont u have to do 200 items of all. Takes forever...
Well I meant the prequest to enter VL, i.e. the quest to get the scroll that drops from Castle Golems lol
Why not just try it yourself? The prequest takes like 1 minute and VL doesn't require fillers anymore.
With your range, you should be able to 3~4 hit the golems, so unless you are unlucky and he eats them right after spawn, you should be able to kill them off. Then just Octo away. If he potential locks you, attack during his DR and kill yourself to release the lock. Repeat.
I do agree that VL is one of the more annoying bosses. Here are some annoying patterns that make me want to flip a table:
1. DR, summon, then eat right away
2. Potential lock, then doesn't DR forever
3. Multiple dispels + potential locks in a row (especially since Epic Adventure is dispelable)

@VlogTriX: Ah, I guess I just haven't noticed. Since VL is still cake to me.

@Pareto: So, what do you recommend I do in my "current state?"

@Cryptic: Believe it or not, but VL is more so annoying because of his continuous summons and casts. </3
False. You won't be able to kill the summoned golems fast enough with that range. You'll end up killing the Rhinos, then VL will only summon more golems to eat up.
I highly doubt VL will spawn mobs continuously and as often as you make it seem. I managed to do it with a 50k clean range a long time ago. And I also doubt VL has changed that much in a few months.

If your dcing with max spawn then spam bucc blast as soon as you see golems spawn, the octo VL. Repeat as golems spawn

Let me drop you some more information on my situation:

My clean range is 50k, and buff without dice roll 5 and hyper is around about 80k+.
With stimulating conversation I have a 91+ k range, and one dice roll 5 gets me to at least 118k range.

Now with that said, I'm level 173, and as @Phaseoffact stated, I did auto DC when Max summons happened upon my map.
Am I really capable of soloing VL, if so can I? Do you any of you have an up to date method?

Thank you=)

The golems have 8~9 mil hp, so they aren't THAT hard to kill, especially with the extra line and target on Bucc Blast. I've personally never left the summons on the map since I just kill them right away, but I've heard that if the mob count gets too high, you can dc.

I have Bullseye to keep my 1v1 on him, and I almost hit cap and he still heals on me. I found it much more effective to spam ultis and ELE to kill mobs and then attack him when he can't heal or DR.
I mean, either or would work. But the few times i find my self using mob moves it takes me about 8 minutes. If i just one to one he heals maybe 3 times and hes dead in under 3 minutes. Keep in mind though I am doing constant 9m per octo cast. I guess it really just depends on how much he drs and heals.

As for cannonners, before i transferred all my equips back to my bucc I just did the same thing, Spam 1v1 on him. But i guess it varies on how much dps you can do. Try both ways, 1v1 till spawn maxes out, or just kill the spawn with bazooka and barrage while they are all dead.

It's quite simple. Octopunch Von Leon when there are no summoned mobs. Bucc Blast when any mobs are summoned. A decent range of 40k clean would be nice to get rid of mobs sooner and to lower Von Leon's HP while using Octopunch.
Bucc Blast's ridiculous range and mob count is the key. Spam it and don't let him heal. Then, just pound his ass. Oh, and don't forget to spice up the night with your Stimulating Conversation.
Not at all, using bucc blast will kill the rhinos causing more golems to spawn and heal him. Literally just spam Octo and stop when he Drs. Dont use PoU because again it will kill the mobs and slow you down. Just 1v1 VL. Eventually the rhinos will max out and he wont be able to heal, at that point just octo away.
