I have had no lag issues since the last patch.
why spend when all you are going to do is crash due to major lag? The game is unplayable right now. I see no point in spending more money on this game until servers are fixed.

I just came back to the game so I have nothing to really cube but I might buy some NX and see what I can get

It says there's discounted 11 packs of bonus cubes.
If there's sales on cubes I could do bpots on quite a bit of my gear.
