What do you do when you are stealing someones skills?

So, i saw the thread where it is from an adventurer having their skills taken and what you would do.

What do you do when you are stealing someone's skills?
Do you just snatch them and leave? do you go up to them and say "HAHAHA I STOLE YOUR SKILLS?" (lol) or do you say "thanks ^_^"
Share some stories about what you've done. (hopefully fun, NICE stories, not mean ones like "HAHHA I STOLE YOUR SKILLS" *DEFAMES*)
