I hate my best friend right now So I was in literature class today, and we sit in table groups of four. I sit with my 2 friends and a girl I like. One friend knows that I like her, and is always hinting at us to get together. Well today, he says to her would she go out with me, and she says no I'm just her friend so I basically just got friendzoned because of him. Advice? She could be joking?
Is it possible? What do you guys think? The chances of a boyfriend and GF to stay together forever when their in are in 7th grade?
How many hours do you guys spend on the computer every day? This morning, my dad says he only wants me to use the computer for only two hours per day INCLUDING FOR STUDYING PURPOSES. He says that it weakens your eye vision (which I agree with) and that I should spend more time reading books (which weakens my eyesight too) or do something more productive. I tell him that I don't play any games but browse social media and reddit. What else do you guys do at home that doesn't involve using the computer/tv? Any eyesight remedies would be welcomed as well.
Track and field - which event is right for me? So this year is my first time doing track EVER. What events are good for a first timer? My coach had us write down our top 3 events we'd like to try. I put down 100m, hurdles, and long jump. I went to three practices so far: Got dusted in 100m sprints. I can get a good start, but after two seconds, they're two meters ahead of me by the time I finish. The hurdles coach said I was super unflexible and probably a little short for a hurdler. Today we did some 800m runs at a fast jog. I didn't stop and recovered pretty fast. Should I rethink what events I should participate in? I have two weeks from today until my first track meet.

How to run better 800m? So I had my first track meet last Thursday, and I competed in the 800m and got a 2:49, which is pretty bad (but hey, I didn't finish last :p ). Are there any tips on how to run the 800m or run better in general? I want to be prepared for my next meet later this week.

Broke my glasses help So one of the lenses fell off of my half-rimmed glasses. There's a string that is connected to the frame, and the lenses are supposed to fit in there. The problem is, it's so tight, I can't stretch it over the lens to fix it. Help? Edit: Also, I'm afraid of telling my parents about this.
