the way i merch is a safe gamble if theres such thing

i like buying sought after stuff and merching it or buying collectables and merching it

you just gotta use common sense and be creative

made a few bils pretty easily tbh esp with fafnir weps

First off, earn some NX to get a store. Nexon offers some if you have the time to do some surveys.

1. Hunt and sell big spider familiars til you have ~50mil
2. Use a Global MapleStory Free Market Search Database
3. Learn accessory crafting. Buy ABR recipes off botters that sell for cheap. Make + sell them
If your server doesn't have a renowned recipe botter, keeping hunting spiders.
4. Do this for a week and you should have a couple hundred mil
5. Learn the prices of NX items, nebulites, AEE, Rings, Pendants and cubes (Literally write them down on a piece of paper and have it in front of you)
6. Buy low, sell high
Protips:
Stay away from chairs, mounts and collector items. NX tends to fluctuate so be cautious.
There you have it. If you aren't a billionaire within 1month following these rules then there's absolutely no hope and you should quit. Kidding, but keep trying.

It's a little easier for me being in Khaini as far as skimming the fm, but learning the prices of these general items would be a good way to start:
Clean Slate Scroll 10% (popular due to elite bosses)
Master Craftsman Cube and Meister Cubes (same as above)
Protection Scrolls
Safety Scrolls
Epic Potential Scroll 50%
Evolving Rings 1, 2, and 3 at max level (17, 17, and 10 respectively)
Spell Traces
These are just a few items that you can learn quickly and buy easily as they don't cost incredible amounts of money to begin with.

If you haven't realized, there isn't a get rich quick scheme that all these Merchants know, but won't tell about. It doesn't exist.
If you want to make money in a timely fashion, learn your prices. Buy low, sell higher. Everyone wants the money, but don't want to put in the work to make it.
Skim the fm 3-4 times a day. Set up a shop when you go to bed. If you don't have a shop, get about 200m from elite boss farming (CSS 10%, Cubes, Prot Scrolls etc) and buy one through gifting.
Once you start making money to sustain yourself (4-5b+ each week), I'd look into a mushy shop as it just gets even faster from there.
