Need help with the Kanna

Hi,
I'm still relatively uneducated about the Kanna. I currently play one in Reboot server and my character has 650k range buffed, however; the character only hits 1-2m on normal monsters which seems relatively low. I heard that the kanna isn't weak at all, so I'm probably doing something wrong. Maybe it's the low max crit and min crit?

For anyone who is well experienced with the kanna, how is it different from the other classes? What are your tips to getting stronger? Anything to know about the secondary weapon and Haku?

Thanks.

I have about, if not a little more than, that same range. You should be doing a little more than that (3 mill per line on Vanquisher against normal mobs at least; maybe it's just me with more PDR/mobs are easier to kill on regular servers?). Best way, as @cxter mentioned, is working on fans. Try to get some %MATT or INT onto the potential lines for Haku's fan since it multiplies into your range. From there, work your way up with equipment. Start by perfecting, then get a good potential since cubes shouldn't be too hard to come by.

Playstyle is definitely different from most classes. We have a lot of diversity in terms of support, utility, and attacks. Once you max out your Hypers for Vanquisher's Charm, it should be your main attack (accompanied by Lifeblood Ritual, you should be able to always use it). Mobbing varies on situations: use Tengu Strike for AoE, Orochi for weak-mob clearing, and the rest is Demon's Fury + Vanquisher's Charm + Passive Blackhearted Curse.

You'll really enjoy the utility that Kanna packs. Though their defensive stats are rather lackluster, but you can regenerate HP as you kill mobs (extremely useful for Gollux where Vanquisher's Charm and Lifeblood Ritual drain your HP/Mana). The barriers can boost your damage and defense two-folds, so definitely use them when you're bossing. And finally, your binds are great for annoying DR-ers and Magnus.

Aside from that, you'll have a lot of trouble managing your entire array skills at first. Just train a lot and don't be afraid to utilize all of your skills. Even Shikigami Charm, as useless as it seems, is great when dodging during boss runs.

EDIT: Also note that if you're playing Kanna, don't expect Nexon to even bother with your skill updates. A while back, JMS had a buff for us, Hayato, Jett, and BT, but we've yet to receive them.

Work on both Fans first. Since most of Kannas DMG come from the haku fan. The range is inflated. So probably having around 700k-800k range should get you 2mil buff with just 15% gear and 2 Good haku fans both at least perfected.
