The MapleStory Community Hello fellow Basilers, I am currently taking a class focused around the question "What is a Community?" at Dartmouth College. The professor asked students whether it is possible to have a sense of "community" online. I would like to get the input of fellow Maplers about whether online communities can exist and, ultimately, whether MapleStory has been able to become a space for community for players. Personally, I've really enjoyed my time as a Mapler (starting in 2006). My brother and I started playing at the same time and found a guild in our world that we both joined. You guys can stop with all the Dark Knight vs Threads Ok, for the past week I've seen sooo many threads about Dark Knights I've seen "Dark Knights useful anymore?" "Dark Knights or Aran" "DrK vs. Hero" and "Dark vs. Pally" And there are even more, why do people wonder about Dark Knights so much? I even saw a "Dark Knight vs. Bowman" thread.... Is it like Dark Knight vs. The world? I mean seriously, Mods should just make a new thread that says "Dark Knight vs. Maplestory" But I've come to a conclusion: EVERYONE is jealous of Dark Knights and are trying to degrade them If you LIKE a class then make it, who cares about which one is "better"

How to get Riding mounts like wtf So today, I went on my Paladin trying to get the Hog/Silver Mane/Red Draco riding mount. After doing the first part of the Kenta (Hog) quest, I received the perfume to go to Korean Folk Town. When I tried to teleport there, the maps are just... gone! XD And gosh, I don't even mind paying the 20 mil for the perfume, it's just that it's stuck in my inventory -_- Such an eye-sore... Is there a way to get mounts right now, or do we need to wait for Nexon to finish renovating the maps?

Question about PDR This may sound nooby, but I've never felt the need to ask it until now. Question: Does every monster have PDR? For example, if I get a PSB with 15% PDR, will it increase my damage by 15% on ALL monsters? or just bosses
