Funding adding damage questions

I've played MS for quite a long time. I started up in 2006 and have been playing on and off since then. I've never really taken it too seriously regarding my 'range' and that, as I more enjoyed the social aspects of the game. Now, I'm starting to take more of an interest in bossing and such (and nexon has made it so you effectively need a little bit of funding for some training spots, to train effectively) so I've started buying my character some equips. I used to merchant a lot so I had a few billion to blow on funding my new zero character. Currently, he's level 188. I've gotten him full CRA (minus the weapon scroll as I've never even seen one in the FM) and some of the sweet water equips, filling in the rest of the slots with just misc stuff (mostly boss stuff).
Now, my question is regarding the % strength stat that I want for my zero.
To not bore you with the stats of every one of my equips, I've got almost all of my items scrolled, and star forced to 10 stars. Obviously some of the scrolls failed, so my gear isn't completely 'perfected' (I only use 70% scrolls anyways).
In total, my zero (currently) has 24% strength. Hardly any of my items have % str on them other then my zero weapons (14%) my sweet water glasses (7%) and my boots (3%).
Obviously this is very minimal % strength stat, as I plan on attempting to cube my items at some point.
I was curious, regarding my range, which unbuffed is 75k-83k, what % str would I need to have to make my range in between 150k-500k? And how much real life money would I have to spend to obtain that? Obviously, I know, it can be reached just by ingame merching, but if I were to spend X amount of NX on cubes, how much would I need to spend to get this, and what % str would I want to aim for on each of my items to get this?
I'm a fairly smart person, and my irl job is working with numbers, so I imagine that as I get more %str, the effect of less % would become higher then when I had less overall %.

I know this was kind of all over the place, but the TL;DR is this; how much money would I need to spend to obtain a range of 150k-500k and what % strength stat would I want on each of my items to get this?

Thank you!

You're coming at it from the wrong angle.

You don't cube if you only have 75k range. Cubing is meant for unique/leg items, since the cost of a cube outweighs the cost of low tier gear.

Right now you should be focusing on buying % str from the FM. The exact % per item depends on what range you're aiming for and if you plan on upgrading further.

There are two styles of upgrading in MS.

1. The first is to spread your funding equally among all your equips to gain the most % stat, since obviously buying three 10% str items is much cheaper than buying one 30% str item. The downside is that if you want to upgrade further, you'll have to toss out the 10% gear and replace it with 15% gear. Then toss that out and replace it with 21% gear, and so on. You'll also have to get rid of your old gear at a significant loss because of psoks. This is obviously inefficient. This style caters to those who are content with "only having a certain range" and who don't have any plans of upgrading in the future.

2. The second is to use placeholders and buy endgame gear to replace them one by one. This style is for those who eventually plan on reaching max range. The downside is that since most of your funding is going into a few godly items, you're going to be weaker until you fill out your gear. In other words, you're sacrificing your current damage output in order to save money in the long term.

This is what people talk about when they describe low, medium, and high funding. You should probably decide which you prefer before you start putting money in.

Also, your 150-500k range gap is quite large, and spans anywhere from 3% to 15% per equip, depending on if your funding is concentrated on a few items or spread over all of them.

TLDR: It depends, and you really need to give us more details. Ballpark guess for 150k buffed range roughly = 2-4 B funding if you have all your link skills. Ballpark guess for 500k range should be around 15-25 B.
over 100% for sure, but u will also have to have more raw stats from equipment + atk to reach that kind of range aka really good scrolled weapon + tyrants/gollux. icoging should increase your range more than tracing since you are not going to have a ton of %stats. But trace if u cant afford icog.

Just a guesstimate if u have no significant atk on gears(no 5 star tyrants no gollux gear no perfect weapon no %atk on weapon/emblem/offhand) u might need 300%+ str 500k range.

%stats doesnt really help you if u dont have the raw stats(atk and str from equips that are scrolled)

TLDR: Time + Money = Range, if ur going to spend NX u need at least 300k nx to make an impact on ur range to push it over 200k. since im expecting you to have 0 end game pieces.
Idk what icoging means, but I do have some gollux stuff. I've got a solid gollux pendant and belt, and I plan on getting the ring too. I also plant on buying full tyrant equips as they aren't THAT expensive.

My total strength is 2693, and I have +275 weapon attack on all of my gears combined. My weapon alone counts for +224 of that weapon attack.
I assume icoging is some sort of scroll?
