Is there a fun passive way to enjoy Maple Story still?
I have a high level shadower and a 120 thunderbreaker for passives and a few other hero classes for link skills. What i was wondering is if there is any worth to playing maple story for fun, or is there any way to simply just play it for fun still?

too poor to boss too boring to get any higher than lv140+. no friends because i have 29 lv120+ characters but i guess that cant be a valid excuse anymore with the new buddy system. i get kicked outta guilds because i jump characters alot so i pretty much only play when a new class comes out and get it to 120 then i have nothing to do
I have plenty of fun. I cheated by getting semi funded but I'm working my way up through the boss difficulties and am leveling a guild with just of my closest friends. Right now it's just me and one other. At the moment, my only goals are to defeat gollux about 5 more days 3+ runs each to get full gollux set and then to set up evo land to a point where I can get the best drops and then pop sparkling black star potion and hopefully get crap tons of uniques. Beyond that, questing is always pretty neat if you do them in stride and follow the story every once in a while.
You dont HAVE to be competitive... I have plenty of friends who dont regularly fund their characters. I chat with them and bring them along to bosses.

to SOLO a boss, you aint even meant to solo bosses

The game is the same as it was before.
There's nothing that makes the game less fun than it was in 2005.
do you have fun playing? if you do then keep p[laying, if not then dont. also i dont think the cygnus and the explorer buffs stack, it just takes the higher one.
