Just found out that people in Maple World can talk to you if you are in the farm. The person in Maple World just has to send the person a whisper and the receiver at the farm will get a pop-up Messenger window. Not sure if the person at the farm can actually start a conversation with the person in Maple World.
EDIT:
You can talk to people in Maple World if you have added their 'farm name' in your friend list in Monster Life. So if you start a conversation in Monster Life, they will get a whisper in Maple Word on any character from the same account or a messenger pop up in Monster Life if they are at the farm of course.
You have to add them by their FARM NAME. Fail.
You can add people in Monster Life. I saw the buddylist there but you have to add people. And I am sure you can only talk to these people on the list. It is separated from your character's buddylist.
