why is the re-download of the game so long now?
Like really. I took a break from MS since the beginning of May to raise my grades up, promising I would play this game again after school was over. Last week I saw the new update was coming, so I decided not to download it because the major update was coming in about a week (Unleashed). So now today I have to re-download the game because the last update I had on my computerwas the one with the virtual training room and stuff, lol. We all know the first game download takes long, and I have to do it again because my client is 2 patches outdated.. The forst time I downloaded MapleStory it took about 2 hours and a half now with the download it saying 4 HOURS.

My question is why is the re-download of the game so long now?
Since I am patient I will wait, but will still like to know because of my curiosity.
If I was younger and never played this game I would have given up.

oh.. first time it was 3gb. eventually maplestory should make the game online. the first time i was going to play this i cancled it becase the download seemed ridiciously so long

The game file is approximately 5GB right now. The number of times you've downloaded it is irrelevant to the time it takes to download it.
If you havin' downloading problems I feel bad for you son.
Use the direct download or even better, Steam for fast downloads.

Also it is a lot easier to update than wait for the new download to come.
