Theres more 90% fail stories because its that much unbelievable to fail a 90% over a 70% you dont see people going "GG failed a 10%" often dosent mean it has a better chance then a 90% lol.
Yeh. It's just as likely you get a 10% to work as you get a 90% to fail. 10%s work, why can't a 90% fail? People don't assume 10%s never work though, which is kind of contradictory.

@yomamma1134: When you have max lvl of the trait diligence, the chances of a scroll to work are raised by 10%.
I feel like it's just a widely known fact that:
A) You pot before you scroll
B) There are more 90% fail stories than 70%.

For me specifically all the 90%'s I use boom my shxt. 70%'s work as if they're 90% though.
Look up "confirmation bias."

Basically, people like to remember certain things. Who is going to remember all the times a 90% works? It's 90%. You /expect/ it to work. Whereas, when a 90% fails, you seem like you're never going to forget it because you were so sure you wouldn't fall into that 10%. So over time your brain blends these experiences together, largely forgetting the successes and exaggerating the failures.

Conversely, this can also be seen in people who have visited a psychic, astrologist, or anyone that uses a method called "cold reading." Invariably, they get more things wrong than right, but people are very likely to rate their performance as good or great if they are even able to get a few things close to right or right.

That last bit is sort of irrelevant, but interesting. Anyway, yeah, basically it seems that way because no one is going to share their stories about their 90% scroll working, whereas everyone wants to complain when they fall into the unfortunate 10% failure rate.

Pot first before scrolling. Take advantage of the event and scroll a grand dagger instead and perfect it since they come out potted.

Why in the world would you even perfect a Reverse? At least get an Empress or Loveless...

Lol no. More people expect a 70% to fail than a 90%. They think the 10% chance of failing shouldn't be happening to them.
They think 90% chance means a guaranteed working scroll.

For crying out loud... I would never risk my item like that. I know you thought 90% was decent odds of getting a good outcome, but when you took that gamble you accepted the possible consequences.

Though, it does suck for that to happen.
mm the question is
why did u even perfect a reverse pescas.....
the new grand maple dagger is same attack
and its tradable and it has 9 slots u/h (11 with hammers)
while reverse has 7 slots (9 with hammers) and u can never trade it after u equip it
maybe he perfected his pecas before all these new daggers were realeased?

I know I perfected my killic before any of this empress and loveless stuff came out.

You perfected a reverse weapon, that's the real gg here. But yeah always pot the item first unless you have a 100% pot scroll.

90% still means a 1 in 10 chance of failure... and, like blaming Nexon for YOU getting that 1 in 10, you failed.

If you're so hard-done by it, start again... maybe even just go with a Grand Maple weapon this time, since it's relatively inexpensive to obtain and scroll while the event is going on.

I don't think Nexon had anything to do with you stupidly using a 90% scroll on a perfected weapon.

I'm pretty sure a 90% success rate means you have something like... 3% chance to fail.

what do you mean gg nexon.

it's 90% what did you expect? 100%?

next time, go ahead and buy a 100% potential service or pot it beforehand. that way you won't be blaming nexon for your foolishness.
