World transfer question?

Hi all. This is my first world transfer so I just want to confirm something before it happens. O:

I see people use lvl 33 alts to get free char slots in worlds; so just to confirm, say I have 16 unlocked char slots in Windia. Could I potentially make 16 lvl 33 chars in other worlds and move them all to Windia to get the max 36 slots? (Assuming all my current char slots in Windia are being used) And if so, what happens if I delete the character that was moved from another world later? Will I lose the slot that was added from the transfer? Finally, does moving a character off one world deduct one slot from that world? Or will I retain the number of slots I have even after a character + its slot is moved? And consequently, what if from my original 20 chars in Windia, I decide to move 6 of them to another world at the same time. If the slots are retained, I shouldn't have to worry about needing 6 more chars to bump my char slots back up to 36 right? >_< Omg lol.

Thank you!

We don't know what would happen if you delete a character, but the general assumption is that it will free up a slot. So yes, if this is the case, you could make lvl 33 characters in other worlds and transfer them over for free character slots. I haven't read anything about what would happen to the slot from the world you transferred from, but from past events you kept those. It might be different this time around since it is an entirely different system. Keep in mind that you can only transfer 6 characters per world if you are doing this.
