@qtipp: You COULD beat chaos vellum with 15/16k str.. the only issue is your control. You are much better off staying with DK, in my honest opinion. I buddied you in game btw, I have some DK questions lol

i mostly boss and rarely train i only care if i cant defeat chaos vellum with my equips

are you sure about arans capping with 15k str im at 16k right now and i have 78% att on my drk and ive been thinking of switching to a diff class if i can find a good 2ndary

Aran is actually not so terrible at end-game bossing as most people might think, like @Rate: explained.
We're lacking in number of lines, but we can definitely deal with all the important bosses!
It takes a bit of getting used to, since you cant just use one attack.
You need to be mindful of attack animation speed, how your attack chain works, etc. It might be difficult if you're coming from another class, but it's nothing a little practice can't fix.

@juarmo: I am pro of course I know what I am talking about. All class easy, spam potion or don't, press attack key, throw money = win.

ignorant post is ignorant...
1. Magic Guard don't work against %hp attacks...
and 2. Every class is affected more or less the same by %hp attacks

The bosses you were facing most likely were those that scaled with %HP attacks. Therefore a mage would be less effected than an Aran. Due to a Mage having 1. lower HP, and 2. damage % deducted from mp instead of hp.

I really like Aran, though an issue I've always seen is his poor defenses. I was once bossing with a mage, and took less damage than I did ._. Unless there is a reason for this?
