Funding a Shadower

Hey guys, I recently made a shadower and am interested in it becoming my main, I heard that shadowers were the easiest theif to fund and play unfunded. I was wondering how expensive it would bee to get semi funded like(500k-1mil range) and the pros and cons of a shadower. I would also like to know what makes it fun to you, if possible. Thanks !

I spent about 1.1b on my shadower and its like at 107k self buffed now. ( no coin flip)
I scrolled and enhanced my stuff which costed like 150m. The other items I got from either drops or buying from fm ( CRA)

Shadower to me is honestly a "shadow" of its former self (pun intended, keel me) for multiple reasons:
- It wasn't just about the damage; the idea of using dark sight + assassinate sparingly while using assaulter to stun, followed with a bstep and savage blow to rack up mesos and then meso explosion to finish off mobs was just pure genius to me. It utilized all of the skills presented, even ones from an older job to get the job done in a smooth and flashy manner.
- Nowadays all you do is bstep to train and then spam assassinate to boss. There is no more fluidity in the way a Shadower operates; its skillset is now narrowed down to two moves and meso explosion only for the godly funded, making it useless to 99% of the Shadower population.
- Now I will admit they do stupid amounts of damage for the amount of funding put in, especially with Flip of the Coin that allows +50m damage cap (why doesn't every low number of line class have this instead of giving them more lines?)
But this is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. After all, it's your story.

To the original post: I spent roughly 3b on my Fafnir Damascus self tracing it and considered myself extremely lucky to get +9 with the 15/30%'s and got to about a 130k range with clean RA equips. The range includes the Xenon/Kanna/DA link skills. With 130k range, I do roughly 1.5m with boomerang step per line (1m from shadow partner) and roughly 5m/3m with Assassinate (on the 2nd attack).

I know almost nothing about Broa's economy, so I can't really give you defined prices. But for 500k-1mil range nowadays, I'd say it'll cost you a solid 6-9b, IF YOU UTILIZE ONGOING EVENTS AND WORK FOR IT OUTSIDE OF SPENDING MESO IN THE FM. (The capitalized part is very important as it qualifies my estimate.)

For me, a shadower is simply the only class I can stick to in this game. It has everything I want in a class (diversity in skillset, decent damage, incredibly aesthetic appeal). Many have called the Shadower the "epitome of Nexon's creative contribution to Maplestory," or even the "god of Maple," and I believe this to be absolutely true, honestly. This is for two reasons, which fall under damage and aesthetics.

For damage, it has been proven that a Shadower that can cap with Midnight Carnival and Meso Explosion is the strongest class in this game, maybe rivaled by a Kaiser using Ryude's sword (I don't exactly know much about this, but I have heard the term and have seen the weapon.) Even without capping, the Shadower is incredibly strong. Many can back me up on this.

For aesthetic, the Shadower has always been a class that defines its own path; its skillset since the old days was simply unique, and its skillset in today's game is just as unique, albeit adjusted for a modern era.

In the end, you do what you want to do. Good luck with your Shadower.
