Me and my friend is trying to do gollux everyday, i thought we could do it 3 times a day but sometimes we can do 2 times and sometimes we can only do once... WHY?

Me and my friend is trying to do gollux everyday, i thought we could do it 3 times a day but sometimes we can do 2 times and sometimes we can only do once... WHY?

Technically you can enter 5 times a day without killing the head, but the quest only gives you 3 free keys a day. But as they said, it doesn't matter how many tries you have left, once you kill the head it won't let you enter again until the next day.
Once you kill the head you can't do it again.
So you kill his entire body twice, on the third run you get his head.
Once you kill the head, you can no longer enter for the day. Also, are both you and your friend using the same key to enter?
