Ultimate Adventurer - Explain please

Title says it all, what's all the hype? Why would I want to make one? How are the Knights of Cygnus involved in this?

Detailed explanations are appreciated, as I would like to make a Koc (Thunder breaker, or Wind Archer) and want to know what makes them so special as Ultimate Adventurers o_o;

Thank you~
The quest required to get the cygnus skill requires you to get 20 feathers which only drop from 1 monster. The drop rate of this feather is extremely low. SO low infact, that it's lower than a chaos scroll drop, and in KMS, it took a person 5 hours to obtain one feather.
Is this for Adventurers? Your really better off just getting a Cygnus to 120. Me and my friend almost went from 1~120 in less than two weeks of casually playing.
-An Ultimate Adventurer (UA) is a separate character. Your Cygnus Knight needs to be Lv120 and you get the option to create a new separate character that will become a UA of any adventurer class. No matter which Cygnus Knight you chose, you can choose any Adventurer, and you will need an empty character slot.
-The UA starts at Lv50 and gets a Lv60 equipment set (with a Set Effect of All Stats +6 W.ATK +5 M.ATK +5 W. Def. +100 M. Def. +100 Spd +20), a Lv60 weapon depending on the Job, and a Medal that says "(insert your Cygnus Knight's name)'s Successor" (with the stats of W.ATK +2 M.ATK +2 HP/MP +200 Spd +10 Jump +10).
-They also get a skill that lets them wear clothes 10 levels above their own level so you get to wear the Lv60 set and weapon right away.
-They get a Cygnus skill depending on which Adventurer you chose, Cygnus Knight class doesn't matter. Warriors get soul driver, mages get flame gear, archers get wind piercing, thieves get vampire, and pirates get shark wave.
-They also get 2 other skills, one that increases their HP and MP by 20% permanently, and another that lasts for 2 hours and increases W.ATK and M.ATK by 4% with a cooldown of 24 hours (One whole day! Way too long of a cooldown).

After a while (like the next patch), there will be the option for regular Adventurers to get the Cygnus skill from a quest that begins at Lv70+ and you will need to level a total of 40 levels in order to max out the Cygnus skill (1 SP gained in the skill per 10 levels, 1st SP from when you get the skill, the remaining 4 from leveling 10 more times). However, I heard that the quest for the Cygnus skill is really hard to do.

It's one skill picked out of the entire job's skilltree.
Fortunatly for you, the one for Pirates is Sharkwave.
NEXON, DOES SOMETHING RIGHT FOR A CHANGE! Lets hope they don't nerf the damage beyond belief <___< although I read that Shark wave gets a major boost after the chaos patch

Well, I'm off to train my new Thunder breaker
So.. would that mean that My Ultimate Adventurer would gain the skill Shark Wave? :O or would it be some other not as appealing/useless Thunder breaker skill? D: (IMO... I've always loved shark wave)
I'd rather not ditch my main...

@ Above, that one skill, and the ability to wear equips early, isn't enough lol. I don't see vampire being worth it.
No, you make a new character,
you need at least one empty slot

does that mean I can get the UA mage skill with a quest? :O

...hang on what skill of the BW gets passed onto mages?
Flame gear gets passed on from BW. But I head the quest is quite long. My main reasons for wanting to make a UA is because my blessing would be 24, I get to wear things 10 levels lower and I get the skill w/o doing the quest. My NW is currently 114 now =O Also, do I have to make my cygnus to 120 before UA come out or can I do it after it's released as well? It's probably the latter but I just wanna make sure. ALSO, does anyone know when they will come out? How long did it take for UA to come out in KMS after mech.

Adventurers can do a quest at 70+ that allows them to receive the cygnus skill, and no vamp isn't worth it at all. I think warriors benefit the most from the CK skill.

I heard you get items for you class and level, the skill, like what brewskie425 mentioned, is basically an Adventurer that's a KC, but at the same time not. So I would rather make an UA because of the one KC skill it gains and the ability to wear equips 10 levels earlier..

As far as we know, Cygnus knights are brainwashed to fighting for the Black Mage.

Back to the main point, UA's can start out at level 50, and they can gain a class specific skill. For example, any UA warrior will gain Soul Driver from Soul Warriors, Rogues will get Vampire, so on and so forth. Each I believe gains an automatic level every 10 levels and a max level of 5? Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, UA's can do a quest to get a skill that lets them equip armor and weapons 10 levels earlier. Also their version of blessing is stronger.

Not a bad idea for the new player if they were to make a CK first, then make a UA.
