Lets have a discussion about durability Root Abyss items
As many of you may know, there are Root Abyss items around with traits such as "100% chance to upgrade potential tier when using a cube" and "This item doesn't explode on scroll failure" or something similar.
One of the issues with these items is that they have a durability and cannot currently be repaired.
Some have said this is a glitch, and others have said it is intentional to offset the awesome traits on these items.
I have heard, though not confirmed myself, that using an Innocence scroll on a durability item will either a) restore it to 100% durability or b) allow it to be used even after reaching 0% durability.
My situation is that I've gotten one of these items (100% potential upgrade) and I'm deciding whether or not to sell it right now, or wait. I'm seeing similar items sold/selling for fairly high prices in Broa FM's.
So, my questions to you are.
- What is your experience personally with these durability items?
- Have you tried the Innocence scroll method, and did it work for you?
- Do you think the non-repairability is a glitch, and if so do you think it'll be fixed? (e.g. the items will be repairable)
- Do you think the Innocence scroll method is a glitch, and if so do you think it'll be fixed? (e.g. the items will never be repairable, and this work-around will be patched)

i got a weapon with a line: all scrolls will succeed
i used 20% innocence scroll on it, it dropped the durability to 0% and i could still wear the weapon

Repairing an item means replenishing the durability ... which means yes, you can use it and get full durability. Just not on the Root Abyss stuff, which really sucks since I just recently got one for 10mil and my friend got it to Legendary 3L for me (free hehe).

People have posted all over nexon's forum, but they're refusing to acknowledge the issue...
It's a glitch. Let's wait for the next maintenance. But someone have to tell Nexon sending a ticket...
Can't answer any of your questions because sealed boxes keep being lame.
I'm 90% sure the non-repairability is a glitch, because if it wasn't, that would mean the repair kit that's sold in root abyss would be completely redundant
Innocent scroll method is probably also a glitch, because logically speaking it doesn't really make sense that an innocence scroll gives you infinite durability. That's not the function it serves
i rly want to buy them but i dont want them to last 1 week max ._.
