I/l Character Card

With the character card system, it SEEMS that i/L's card give 0.5 magic attack per character level.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a total of an extra 100 magic attack at level 200? Does it ever cap?

If it doesn't, I'm going to be making one.

I expect a ton of paladins, too.

Sorry for the bandwagon~ I love the class anyway, so yay, more mages for me~!

EDIT

Ok, now I'm really confused.

Shakar's blog says "magic damage rises per level"...
Nexon's update notes says "magic attack rises per level".

Is it:

[*]0.5 magic attack every 1 level of the character?
[*]+0.5% magic attack for each RANK of the card?
[*]+0.5 magic attack per RANK of the card?

:/

I can't quite tell what the card buff does for me, but it does help a little.
As I'm lvl 200, I believe it's either adding +8MA (SS is level 4 x 2 per level)
or it's adding +400 to the top of my range (level 200 x 2 per level).

Card ranking: B/A/S/SS
Effect:0.5/1/1.5/2

It doesn't. I read it before posting this.

I made this thread when I read the patch notes and it seemed to confirm that it was +matt per character level.
The patch notes CLEARLY do not mean that level = rank B, A, S and SS, because they say character level.

However, I just don't think they'd give out such a broken status gain. That's +400 magic attack at level 200.

So I think it's a typo now and it's +0.5/1/1.5/2 PERCENT magic / attack, which isn't too OP'd and seems to fit in with the rest of the card system.

EDIT:

Ah, wait. I thought that was a different thread you linked.
Nah, that doens't answer it either. That still has a lot of that bull about "character level = rank of card derp".

Nobody knows. If it's a big buff, though, I anticipate with dread and vague resentment the incoming flood of character-card mules
