People, use the Basil Time
It's annoying when I see people with "GMT +/- *something*" in their accounts. Is it so hard to check Basil Time when you're playing? It's not big deal to convert timezones, but still, Basil Time EXISTS TO MAKE THINGS EASIER. Worst are the people who just put "random", "often" or "evenings" on their accounts. Evening, yeh? Well, GMS has players all over the world, be more specific!
Really, everyone, just try to use Basil Time! I have random playing times too, but at least I can give some scale.

Well most people know PST/EST time zones more than BT time. I have no idea what timezone BT is even in, but most people know PST atleast since it is Nexon's time.

That is true. But still, there is a big portion of players on all across the world. If there were not, there would be no Basil Time. I know that the time difference may be a marginal problem, but still, I hope that people would notice this. Converting your timezone to BT isn't big task, but it helps really much.
Most people playing GMS live in either pacific or eastern region, so I think it's more practical to use PST and EST. That's just my opinion.
I usually don't use basil time, unless the person I'm trading with is not pst/est/blablablabl/in north america.

OT: I never really refer to basil time in my players times, but if I'm PMing someone back and forth, I do usually go by BT unless we're both EST. A time conversion feature would indeed be useful, and help "motivate" everyone into using BT
The only reason I have something in the time slot is because I need to.
I guess this is the time when someone should suggest that Basil add in a time zone converter to BT.
Using Basil Time would certainly be most efficient. In fact it should probably be mandatory.
However a lot of people are probably not familiar with it so it's easier to just say something like "5PM ~ 8PM EST." Most Americans should be able to understand that and make conversions quickly. GMS is mostly American so it work out relatively well.
It could be a problem for EMS players though. They should probably use BT. Everyone should use BT really. But sadly I doubt we ever will.

I don't think you kinda understood what I meant. So, you regularly play on 3-5 EST (...What BT?), and sometimes 6-8 EST? Well, pretty much everyone plays every once and then, it's pretty impossible to tell every second when you're playing. But look at my profile, it says I'm on during 05-16 BT, and it's almost 20 BT. But I'm online right now. Still, 05-16 is BEST TIME to try to contact me, tehn I'm most likely online. When bidding to item, it eould be good to know the playing times of the seller not just "sometimes, GMT -8".
Honestly, I have to agree. It's not much of an effort to check what's the difference between you and another's timezone. I agree with that, although it's even easier for everyone to just convert their local time to basil time.

Well in your scenario, the person shouldn't post a specific time if they don't actually maintain that schedule. At the very least, just say "PM me and we'll find a time we can meet."
OT: I used to dislike people not following BT, but most people figure out the time changes anyway. It would be nice if everyone was consistent with it, but again, most people don't actually stick to the times they post, meaning you PM each other about that anyway usually

It's easy for me since BT is the same time as my normal time.
