Moderators, criticism and accountability on Basilmarket So just a little while ago, I was posting on a thread that was questioning how moderators act, and how they are seemingly unaccountable. Then, all of a sudden, bam, the thread's been deleted with no reasons given. Why? Looks to me like moderators are given a lot of power on this site, but with little control over their actions. Why shouldn't I, as a member of this site for over three years, be allowed to voice my criticisms? It isn't against the Basilmarket rules, is it? The closest I can find is rule #1: "Attacks on users or moderators, or comments made to incite an argument are not allowed. There is a difference between criticizing someone's ideas or actions, and outright attack
