How do you respond to your own class?
I had a discussion with my friend the other day about talking to people in maplestory.
I asked him how he (a nightlord) felt about talking to shadowers or dual bladers. the conversation went something like this:
Me: so, when you see another person thats the same class as you, whats your first thought?
Him: It's a dog-eat-dog world for thieves, i don't like to talk with my own class at all to be honest, it's very competitive atmosphere when we meet.
Me: why is that?
Him: well, theres that certain RIVALRY that circles around us. everybody knows it's there, but we just dont talk about it. it's been there for as long as i can remember.
Me: because its obvious?
Him: well yeah kinda, i guess it really depends on the specific class. how is it for you warriors?
*i laughed*
Me: well yes i guess it DOES depend on the type class~.
Him: like how? how do YOU go about being around them?
Me: as a hero, seeing another hero doesn't bother me. its like a "hey! hows your day going?" type of feel. it's also kind of the same feeling when i see a DK, and for the record, most DK's i've met are pretty modest people. when i see a paladin, i feel a sense of bravery coming from them. i think it's due to the low number of them that i saw way back before 4th jobs existed, so i have lots of respect for them. all in all, i guess warriors are a "happy" class.
Him: what about dawn warriors?
Me: thats when my maternal instincs take over. lol
Him: ok, what about ARANS?
Me: ....thats a different story entirely man. thats like TABOO for the adventure warriors. we just dont-
Him: hahaha, why not?
Me: when they first came out, i really hated the fact that they were born with mobility, plus their mob skill was just their normal attack, JUST THEIR NORMAL ATTACK! AND they look 100 times flashier than the other warriors. and the attacks reach too far for me to think that they're "warriors". but i think most of that is behind me now...but i still wish i had a mount that was as cool as theirs, but thats what i hate EVANS for. lol
so what do you guys do? do you avoid your own class? do you give more hospitallity to a certain type of your own class?
i'd like to hear your opinion.

naw, i love more Drk's in a party! you dont know how annoying it is when the only Drk in the party forgets to re-cast HB... o.o
I'm ok with most of the warriors.
But when I see a hero I feel all competitive for some reason.
I feel as though Heroes have some kind of rivalry against Paladins xD.
despite the fact that evans are the most horrible class to be right now. the legit ones are nice overall. we never fight for things like ksing or hacking. i haven't met a hacking evan that is high level (speaking for myself, idk others). also i like the evan class because most of them are nice polite persons. my buddy list is almost only evans. i really hope they get buffed AND fixed. seriously, i sent 3 tickets now because of their glitched skills and their extremely suckish PvP handicap... and of course the amazing amount of % needed to raise a bit the range, it's not very important but everything must be perfect for such a perfect class
When I see an another Marksman, I really like to start a chitchat with them. When I see a Bowmaster, I usually talk with them, but don't feel them as close as marksmen.
When I see a Wind Archer (Really few of them) I don't usually start a chat. I just let them train, maybe say them "hey" and continue my trip.
When I see a Wild Hunter, I don't usually chat with them, they're just moving too fast so it feels like they aren't even listening to me.
When I see a Mercedes, I tell them "nice level " if they're at least 170. If not, I just ignore them.
When I see a hero or paladin, Im pretty friendly. I have no problems with them. However, when I come across another Drk, I feel a sense of competition. Idk if it's just because parties only really need one Drk for hyperbody so I see other Drks as people that could take my spot in a party. But if I do end up training along side another drk, I'm ok with them.
