Assassins Creed 3
So I've played Assassin's creed 2 before, but not Brotherhood and Revelations and i loved the story mode
I was thinking about trying out assassins creed 3 for story and multipalyer but idk if i should
Any thoughts so far about assassins creed 3?

@fraddBS: Because we don't. I hardly buy games unless they're titles I love. Like AC, I have bought them loyally every year since AC2.
OT:
The storyline is basically cut up in two parts.
1. Desmond storyline.
2. Historical figure storyline.
When it comes to the historical figure (Ezio), you will miss out on what happened to him. However you will be starting a new with a different historical character, named Conner. It's a different time period and a different area. The Ezio story is done.
However the Desmond part of the storyline, has been going on since AC1. You might not understand what is going on, however seeing as the storyline is fairly minimal for Desmond in previous games, you could just read up on it.
Personally, I am not at all fond of AC3. I knew this the moment I saw the setting for it. I miss jumping over Italian rooftops. God, I even went to Italy because of these games. I really miss the feeling of being an assassin in this game. I mean, first you're not the main character (AMAZING plot twist I have to commend Ubisoft for though), then you become the main character as a child, then you go through his teenage years and then finally, around sequence 6 you're an assassin. Heck, at one point you're even closer to a pirate than to an assassin. Wait, did I just play half of an Assassin's Creed game without being a real Assassin? Great... not.
I'm not fond of it and I don't like the new main character. The whole America thing is just ugh to me. I like the Europe and Asia setting much more. The history seems richer. This is the first AC game I haven't finished within 2 days. I constantly feel the need to pick up AC:2, B or R.

If you're playing for story, you have to play Brotherhood and Revelations to get it.
