Unable to do Storyline Quest?
I just made an Aran today and I'm at Henesys where I'm asked to obtain a Cynical Orange Mushroom Puppet from Cynical Orange Mushrooms. I've already gotten 5 of them... but the quest registers it as 0 and I can't turn it in. Are storyline quests required for job advancements? I enjoy them but if this won't at least impede me from advancing I can wait til it gets patched if ever...

No need to do them, anymore. The used to be required, but not now.
haha no... i dont think those quests are required.
i still have some low level recommended quests for my aran, but i didnt bother on doing them.
