Unfunded Gear and Storyline? I am a returning player who is pretty poor. I was wondering what would be the most realistic end game gear I can get without merching heavily. Currently, I have the full pensalir armor set and looking for the weapon, as well as doing commerci runs in hopes of sweet water equips dropping (although I can only kill grosso polpo). Also, how good of a potential should an equip be before I begin scrolling with star force? On another note, I really enjoy plot and storyline in games. For example, I just did the grand atheneum questline and found it really enjoyable. What other questlines have interesting storylines or just shed more light on the overall maplestory plot? Permanent pets? Looking at the permanent seal package right now and had a couple questions. 1) Do all pets come with the pick-up skill? 2) If I buy it on an explorer, will I be able to transfer it through cash shop to all other explorers?
Old Mastery Books? Just came back for a long time and now I have some mastery books for skills that don't exist anymore. Is there anyway to trade these in for the new books or are they completely useless?

How does Quiver Cartridge work? Coming back after the explorer revamp and I want to try out my bowmaster. Could someone explain to me how quiver cartridge works, primarily in what the quiver size of 10 means and how they recharge? Since I'm kinda broke and prefer to not have to continually heal, the drain arrow interests me. I just don't know how often I can keep it active. Thank you!
Zero still need to finish all chapters? As the title says, do Zero's still need to complete all of their storyline chapters up to 180(?) before they can gain exp in the maple world and whatnot? Coming back to maple now and still have my Zero that I luckily made when it came out.

Which class has these characteristics Coming back to maple after a long time and it appears so many classes have changed. Could anyone give me suggestions on classes that are mobile, are at least average in mobbing and bossing, don't easily get one shot, and can be played decently unfunded? Being desirable for parties is a plus. Thanks :)
Surfboard Drops? Does everything drop surfboards just like the update notes say? And if so, are they rare drops? I've grinded mobs from 0-95 and yet to see any. Thanks!

Unable to do Storyline Quest? I just made an Aran today and I'm at Henesys where I'm asked to obtain a Cynical Orange Mushroom Puppet from Cynical Orange Mushrooms. I've already gotten 5 of them... but the quest registers it as 0 and I can't turn it in. Are storyline quests required for job advancements? I enjoy them but if this won't at least impede me from advancing I can wait til it gets patched :/ if ever...

Red Update Questions Hi, I'm returning to Maple because my winter break recently started. I have a couple questions regarding the recent RED update. First, is it possible to trade in old mastery books for the new mastery books? I know previous updates affecting mastery books had the option to trade in obsolete books and am wondering if that's still possible. Secondly, I don't quite understand how the new job chance works. Essentially, you can switch branches within a job once a day? And if so, how does that affect skill levels for 4th job and the max level? Thanks!

Good dagger to buy? I'm looking to buy a decently scrolled dagger to use on my shad until I get enough to buy an endgame dagger. Right now, I'm looking to spend 300-500m on a dagger. Approximately what stats on a dagger can I buy with this amount? The world is Scania in case it matters.
