Unfunded Gear and Storyline?
I am a returning player who is pretty poor. I was wondering what would be the most realistic end game gear I can get without merching heavily. Currently, I have the full pensalir armor set and looking for the weapon, as well as doing commerci runs in hopes of sweet water equips dropping (although I can only kill grosso polpo). Also, how good of a potential should an equip be before I begin scrolling with star force?
On another note, I really enjoy plot and storyline in games. For example, I just did the grand atheneum questline and found it really enjoyable. What other questlines have interesting storylines or just shed more light on the overall maplestory plot? If anyone could provide a link/site that has an overarching storyline, it would be greatly appreciated!

Actually, to be honest. If not merching, it's either just selling drops or using drops.
So I would prefer making a Zero since their strong, get drops sell and get maybe 15mil and go for bosses.
It's worth it and might be more fun than merching to you.

Range is 50-60k on my bm. Just tried easy gollux today. Took awhile to get the hang of it but I was able to clear the head
I like the Shade storyline but I havent gotten it to 200 for the final quest.
I don't think getting all 4 rings, and a set of earrings by farming easy gollux is going to be realistic in terms of time. Can we also know your range, I'm fairly sure you still need to be somewhat funded to battle with easy gollux.
CRA and gollux is realistic for any funding level. Do Gollux prequests. Farm easy Gollux until you can afford a superior ring/earring. Sell the ring or earring for over 1b. Buy CRA and reinforced gollux pendant and belt with the meso you made and you should have over 500m to spare. You could even sell the other equip and buy yourself a Tyrant cape. Elite Heliseum/Nova boots are easy to farm from Velderoth and plenty of people would let you loot them from Magnus runs.
Use gollux rings for all 4 of you rings. It'll take you a few months to earn them. If you sold your superior ring, just earn another on a different character.
For your Face and Eye accessories you can use those powder crystal that drop from most bosses or buy/earn sweet water.
Get Ghost Ship Exorcist badge from the captain Latanica questline and NEVER EVER risk booming it.
Use a dimension glove until you find something with decent potential.
You should make a zero as it is both strong unfunded (meaning you could do boss runs like each gollux which makes quite a bit of meso) and they have a great storyline.
