Hayato or Kanna?

I've just reinstalled maple and I want to start a new class. Hayato and Kanna both interest me but I only have one character slot available. Things I value in a class are storyline and how easy it is to grind with them. Thanks!

What about all the Kannas that play the class because they enjoy the class? We're more than just Kishin, too. We can Bind and have a few party buffs, not to mention free MW30. I know plenty of Kannas that aren't just Kishin/Link skill mules.

Ah yes. Of course.
You just keep on doing what you're doing then.
You must either be psychic, or highly opinionated. Considering you've posted similar things in multiple threads, I'm pretty sure it's the latter.
Plus, I don't see how "wait for RED because other classes get updated" is any different than "you're only interested because you heard they're getting an update".
It may shock you to know that some people actually do enjoy their Hayatos and/or Kannas. Speculate as you will, but do not pretend that the classes aren't enjoyed and played by many (or would be in Kannas case, if they weren't hampered by a debilitating issue).
I'm quite sure I've said this once maybe twice, and I know that I'm right. There was absolutely no mention of Hayato or Kanna until rumors of a POSSIBLE update to those characters started to spread. If this person is just going to play a solid Mage or Warrior, they might as well wait until there's an actual update with worthwhile content like RED. You can actually choose something you won't get bored of after 15 minutes of hitting ctrl.

You can speculate but unless you have satisfactory numbers to prove what you say, I'd save your own speculations for the talks you have with yourself. Kanna AND Hayato are among the least played classes in MapleStory, period, they only time you see one of them at all is when you see Kanna muling Kishin for that player's party and often times main character.

As for their hypers, we know how they look but we don't know the effects of them yet (nor do we know their passive skill buffs)
I doubt the validity of the source we've seen before due to the fact that theres a few skills that clash with existing things already: take falling sakura for example, one of its listed "hypers" is +20% healing.... when falling sakura already restores 100% hp.

Edit: Kanna's 170 hyper is also listed as Hakki Youku, doing 500% x 6 to 15 mobs, this would literally be a carbon copy of her beginner skill, right down to the name.
Yup, I agree. I don't think the descriptions of the skills were accurate at all. That's why I'm skeptical that they'll even come around to gMS.
Their Hyper Skills have still yet to be confirmed, but you say they will have bad hyper skills even though NOBODY knows what they will be?
Idiot.
Settle down, Down Syndrome Sally. If neither the effect or the hyper skills themselves have been confirmed, yet you assume that their will be hyper skills. If I'm stupid for being objective about the current description of the effects then you're just as stupid if not more so for assuming that we'll even get hyper skills at all.

Personally of the two I find Hayato much more fun, I have both of them and I find Hayato to be very enjoyable, Kanna is probably the better trainer due to having...... 4 ultimates? (5 if you count her 170 hyper which comes out soon) Whereas Hayato has 3 counting his hyper, 1 of them just being a straight slash over a long distance.

Neither. You're only interested because you heard they're getting hyper skills which has still yet to be confirmed. Even if it is confirmed, both have terrible Hyper Skills (especially Kanna). If you're interested in a decent Warrior that can grind well I would suggest you make a Thief instead probably a Dual Blade or a Shadower because as of now all Warriors are terrible (although when RED comes things will be totally different and they'll be kind of nice). If you're looking for a Mage they all mob very well but I would say Luminous and Battle Mages are the clear and obvious winners.

Hayato is very fun and flashy, and the equipment is pretty cheap. but beware, as of yet they do not have hyper skills but should get them very soon ( next patch or so)
