Help convincing my mom
So my sister and I have hosted New Years parties for the past two years, and naturally we're planning on hosting another one this year. However, my mom is suddenly extremely against the idea of it because she thinks we're going to ruin the house and keep her up all night. I've constantly assured her that we'll keep things under control but she is being ignorant and irrational, and won't listen to any of my logic and assurance. I'm going to go as far as making a Powerpoint presentation on why she should let us have the party, but I'd appreciate some advice as to what to say.
TLDR: My mom is being irrational and ignorant, and won't let me host a New Year's party this year, despite having done so for the last two years. I need help convincing her.

Actually I have offered to hold it outside but she's against it as well (but this time it's because she doesn't want us to freeze to death ).
