So Im trying to align my Fb cover with my prof pic ...and it's not as easy as I thought. I got a template for Photoshop but it didn't really work well, so I've spent the past 40 minutes tinkering with my prof. pic trying to get it to line up with my cover photo. And by some random luck I got it to work, but I was working on a really low-resolution version of the photo, so my profile picture is really ugly and low-res (but aligns correctly) while my cover photo is really sharp and hi-res. So, question: is it even worth having an ugly prof. pic to do the whole alignment thing, or should I scrap it? Here's how it looks:

Old Maple Nostalgia Thread not an Old versus New thread Two days ago, I logged on MapleStory for the first time in more than a year, and I noticed that it was the 7th year anniversary. I've never known for sure when my Maple career started, so I decided to check my quest log to see the date I completed my first quest. It was 2005. I hadn't realized that I've been playing for all 7 years. So naturally I sat there and had a super nostalgic run-through of my Maple career. There's a handful of photos that flat-out suck just because there were some days where I wasn't feeling particularly creative, but overall that album is a pretty good glimpse at my photos. Help convincing my mom So my sister and I have hosted New Years parties for the past two years, and naturally we're planning on hosting another one this year. However, my mom is suddenly extremely against the idea of it because she thinks we're going to ruin the house and keep her up all night. I've constantly assured her that we'll keep things under control but she is being ignorant and irrational, and won't listen to any of my logic and assurance. I'm going to go as far as making a Powerpoint presentation on why she should let us have the party, but I'd appreciate some advice as to what to say. TLDR: My mom is being irrational and ignorant, and won't let me host a New Year's party this year, despite having done so for the last two years.
Is Modern Warfare 3 really worth it? I'm sure plenty of you have already got it, but unlike previous Call of Duty games, I held off because it looks exactly like MW2. Can anyone give me a legit, unbiased opinion on whether on it it's worth the $60, and not just a MW2 clone? Preferably someone who's actually played it. Edit: Also, tell me why it's worth it, i.e. new features that are worth paying for. It's not that I don't like MW2, I absolutely love it, it's just that I wouldn't pay $60 for new weapons and maps.

What does removing a UPC do I found a Canon Rebel T3i on Craigslist for $750 (retail price: $900) so I emailed the guy, and he said that it was unopened and still had the warranty. But he also said that he removed the UPC for a rebate, and I don't really know what removing the UPC does. Does it affect the product at all, i.e. voiding the warranty or something? Fill me in.
This fall is going to be amazing for me, at least. August 6th, I'm going to see The Decemberists live. Four days later, I'm seeing Death Cab for Cutie (favorite band). And then October 5th, I'm seeing Arctic Monkeys. :) In total the tickets were $100, but it's completely worth it. :) :) Anyway, this thread would be pointless without a topic starter, so is anyone else going to any upcoming concerts?
Me and my friends' YouTube We are Pineapple Productions, and we make short films. Generally they're comedic. We've only made two but we're working on a 20-30min movie that's going to be MUCH bigger and better (in terms of plot development and production) than our current ones. Both of the movies that we've made so far were projects for school (don't ask how they relate to school haha), so we were limited on time and the screenplay ended up being written in 10 minutes. In other words, our upcoming movie won't be as plot-holed and shallow. ;feature=channel_video_title is the better film of the two we have out, so give it a view if you'd like. Question to those that hate rap. Three questions, actually. 1) What do you normally listen to? 2) Why don't you like it? 3) Have you legitimately gave it a chance? It seems that a lot of the people who hate rap are completely ignorant to it, and base their opinions on crap on the radio. I mostly listen to indie/alternative music and some dubstep, but I completely enjoy rap. Try listening to Childish Gambino, Kanye West's Late Registration album, Mos Def, and Eminem and tell me how you feel about rap then. Edit: This isn't about rap on the radio. That stuff sucks. I guess you could call it self-improvement but like everyone always says, it's important to be yourself, so what do you do in this situation? I need a little help with PowerPoint I'm making a PP for school and I need help. How do I animate one line of text at a time if they're all in the same textbox, (instead of having them all animate at the same time)? Is this possible or do I have to separate them into several different textboxes? Thanks. Edit: I want to make one line of text appear, then show a picture illustrating that line, then another line followed by a picture illustrating THAT line, etc. In other words I want the text to come in periods of time separated by pictures.
