What does it mean to live?

Everyone has different answers for this question. For some, it can be as simple as eating and sleeping. For others, it can be living in a recurring nightmare that never ends because of the circumstances that life throws at you. But I only mentioned two of the infinite answers to this question. So, what would you answer if you were asked the question, "What does it mean to live?"

Life is the unrelenting seeking of happiness. Our desires propel and animate us every waking day. Go to school in order to get a job, get a job in order to get money, get money in order to obtain happiness, et cetera. Different people have different desires and different roads to happiness, but I think that's the gist of it.

Not atheist since we can never be 100% certain that there is or was some almighty being looking down on all of us. I highly doubt some being would be looking at us, but I can't deny the possibility. As for the one who wakes up living his nightmarish days, that's some serious $hit, I'd get out of there as quickly as you can. And I do expect different answers from everyone. We are all different individuals aren't we? I'm just here to observe.

The magnitude of this question is so high that there is no right or wrong answer to this question. Just know that everybody will say something different.

Wake up to a world of nightmare and trying to survive and taking a risky chance with every move. That what I think. To me it like: If you sit down you get get shot by
somebody by accident. If I drive to work will there be a accident?
living to me is being happy and looking forward to the next day.
Being miserable and slaving away at a job you hate just so you can pay the bills and never having fun doesn't seem like living to me.
So happiness is equated to how much you enjoy your job. But then there are those who exist solely to entertain themselves by hurting others be it mentally or physically. Sure, you could try to stop them, or maybe even silence them. But that won't stop them from coming back to harass you the next day or the next day or the next day. Many just deal with them and ignore them, but there are some who can't. Went off on a tangent, but it's related to happiness. There are people who are victims of this kind of abuse every waking second because others are insecure about themselves. What do you think of them?

Good answer, but what about the things that we can't experience? Should we just shovel our imaginations away just because we cannot experience them? I'd prefer people use their imaginations to make the impossible, possible. But, oh well.
